We're looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Vice President of Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer to lead and shape the marketing strategy for a fast-growing brand. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive customer acquisition and retention efforts, overseeing a broad range of channels such as direct-to-consumer (DTC) platforms, organic social media, marketplaces, and more.
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing strategies to optimize and expand marketing channels, managing budgets to achieve acquisition goals, and refining attribution models. You will also have the opportunity to lead a talented team focused on paid social, display, TV/CTV, direct mail, native advertising, paid influencer campaigns, organic social efforts, website optimization, and more. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor an existing marketing team, fostering professional growth and development.
Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including contribution margin, net profit, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), return on ad spend (ROAS), and more.
Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition and re-engagement, expanding our marketing channels and driving customer loyalty.
Maintain and evolve a comprehensive testing framework to accelerate business learning and optimization.
Collaborate with the team to report, analyze, and extract actionable insights from campaign performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Lead the reporting and analytics across all marketing channels, ensuring performance aligns with KPIs and business objectives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on customer acquisition, ideally in a fast-growing eCommerce or digital-first brand.
Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of online marketing strategies, including A/B testing, performance data analysis, and optimization.
Proven experience launching and scaling both upper-funnel and lower-funnel marketing channels.
Expertise in both direct response and brand-building campaigns with measurable, impactful results.
Proficiency with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
In-depth knowledge of paid advertising platforms, particularly Facebook, Google Ads, affiliate marketing, and native advertising.
Experience managing and developing a marketing team or agency relationships.
Strong understanding of attribution models, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Channel Attribution (MCA).
Experience managing a performance-focused paid media budget of at least $1.5 million/month.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Exceptional multi-tasking abilities with a strong focus on strategic thinking and execution.
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
