Remote Pharmacy Technician

Pride Health is hiring for multiple Remote Pharmacy Technicia n openings to support our client’s pharmacy fulfillment project

.This is a Fully Remote opportunity, but the candidate should be based out of one of the following states: Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Wyoming, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Iowa

• Job Type : 6-month contract (project based
• )Pay range : $18 - $20 per hour (Based on experience, credentialing, and location)
• .Training Schedule : Monday – Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm – 4-week duration. It may be subject to change
• .Schedule
• :Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with an hour lunch
• .Workers must be available as early as 5 am and as late as midnight
• .5 days a week which may or may not include weekend coverage
• .Overtime and Holidays as needed

.Job Duties

• :Primarily answering prior authorization inquiry calls/requests with customer service as well as researching and resolving formulary and benefits issues using the appropriate reference material
• .Process member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessar
• yUsing established criteria and guidelines, the pharmacy technician receives, and processes prior authorization requests made by providers and members for medications not inherently covered on a member's prescription drug plan
• .Resolve issues and complaints promptly
• .Performs other duties as assigned by management
• .Handles inbound phone requests and gathers member data to provide information for Pharmacist consultations
• .Safety is paramount and employees need to have a safe and secure workspace and communicate with their leadership when that safety (equipment, system, information) is compromised

.Qualifications

• :High School Diploma or equivalent required
• .Licensure/Certification Requirement : Active National or State Board Pharmacy Technician Licensure throug
• hPharmacy Technicians Certification Board (PTCB
• )State Board of Pharmacy Licensure in state of residenc
• eA private and secure space to work from home with a hard-wired ethernet cord is required
• .Must be a permanent resident in one of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Iowa, and Kansas
