Job Description

Govig Healthcare Group, the premier Executive Search firm in the Senior Care industry, is seeking a Regional Director of Operations for a Skilled Nursing organization to oversee multiple facilities in Tennessee. This is a great opportunity for a Regional looking to get in with a stable and growing organization with a tenured executive team.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the overall success of facilities in the region.
  • Establish performance goals and metrics, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with senior leadership to develop expansion strategies.

Operational Oversight:

  • Provide guidance and support to community Administrators, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, such as occupancy rates, resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and quality of services across all communities.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to skilled nursing and ensure communities maintain compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and oversee the preparation and submission of required reports.

Financial Management:

  • Work closely with community leadership to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve revenue and control costs.
  • Monitor billing and collections processes to maximize revenue and minimize delinquencies.

Staff Development and Engagement:

  • Recruit, hire, and train leadership teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to Administrators and their teams, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Implement recognition and reward programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Represent the company in community events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Must have active NHA license in good standing
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living or a related healthcare field.
  • Experience in skilled nursing in the state of Tennessee
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing home regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
