Job Description

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • The Program Manager will work with the NYC Digital Service team to organize, plan, and track workstreams to deliver Client redesign and other projects as needed.
  • The project manager will be involved in stakeholder and working team meetings.
  • All on-going work and deliverables will be reviewed together with the NYC Digital Service Design team.

TASKS:

  • Manage workstreams for build of client core to delivery high quality digital experiences on time.
  • Establish, track project deliverables, and help mitigate obstacles in executing a work plan for project activities, sprints or phases.
  • Lead and manage sprint planning and task management.
  • Monitor project activities, document agreements, communicate to project stakeholders, and escalate issues on a timely basis.
  • Establish deadlines and monitor the progress of the project, following up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings with teams and stakeholders with clear, prioritized agendas and provide timely recaps and drive resolution of next steps.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing redesigns across multiple web brands
  • Hands on experience migrating content management system with search and translations.
  • Expertise working in a matrix environment aligning stakeholders and principals.
  • Demonstrated experience leading creative, development and QA teams to deliver websites and web features from ideation to launch, with attention to detail and quality user experiences.
  • Experience setting up project management processes for cross functional teams that have various ways of working.
  • Deep knowledge of agile project management practices, with experience leading sprints in a large organization and proactive planning
  • Experience pairing with other disciples to launch digital tools and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and work with leadership, experts and decision makers, cross-functionally and across teams, coaching teams to drive outcomes
  • Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices
  • Experience setting up project management processes for cross functional teams that have various ways of working.
