Colon, Stomach, and Liver Center is seeking a Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lansdowne, VA to help drive patient success in our community.

We are searching for a passionate individual that will work Full Time, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. This position provides a great work, life balance as you will not have to work any nights, weekends, or be on call!

**Must be an LPN or an experienced Certified Medical Assistant!

What you will do:

• Assess, evaluate, and discern patient acuity; secure patient appointment consistent with telephonic evaluation and clinician-driven guidelines. Seek clinician input wherever needed and provides patient education and instruction when necessary.
• Act as a conduit between clinician and patient to facilitate refill requests, relay test results, and answer general clinical questions as guided by clinicians.
• Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response(s). Record data in a neat and organized manner, including but not limited to, chart entries, documentation, or internal/external communication.
• Assist clinicians with management of office visits when needed.
• Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.

What you bring:

• Must be a certified medical assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Previous experience working as a medical assistant or LPN
• Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
