The Department of Comparative Cultural Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Houston invites applications for a position as part-time Lecturer to teach courses in Anthropology, with any specialization. This is a non-tenure track position and lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis. The Department of Comparative Cultural Studies combines degree programs in Religious Studies, Anthropology, and Liberal Studies.
The successful candidate must have at least a MA in Anthropology (PhD preferred), with a specific background in Anthropology, and should have prior teaching experience, minimally as a TA in Anthropology courses, with knowledge of general anthropology at the undergraduate level.
