JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to manage the International projects/quotations group. This position will make sure that all customer requests will be completed in a timely and accurate manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely responses to customer's "request for information".
- Project manages customer quotations/projects from initial request to final delivery.
- Create and maintain company templates/forms for customer submittals.
- Comply with all safety, health, environmental requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position
- Reviews all customer requests and manages team to make sure request is complete and accurate.
- Communicates with all levels of management, engineering, HSE, supply chain, sales, etc. in order to correctly complete any request/project.
- Provide delivery status updates to customer on weekly basis.
- Maintains win/loss metrics of customer quotations.
- Adheres to all API guidelines and customer supplied documentation.
- Prepares accurate, timely, consistent and professional customer submittals.
- "Outside of the box" thinking in order to produce new and exciting proposals to the customer.
- Selects the appropriate products for quotation.
- Asks the correct questions in order to provide proper customer quotation/response.
- Manages International project/quotations group.
- Trains International project/quotations group.
- Special projects or assignments as directed by management.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None Required
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: - A thorough knowledge of API 6A as well as ISO 9001 is required. Intermediate computer skills, Advanced language skills, Intermediate mathematical skills, and Advanced reasoning ability skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise work assignments to International Quotation Representatives.
