Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong background in behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. In this role, you will help improve the health outcomes of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) through financial analysis and strategic recommendations. You will support CCBHCs by analyzing financial data, creating reports, and guiding the implementation and adjustment of payment models.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze financial data, including revenues, expenditures, cost projections, insurance, and fiscal modeling.
Prepare and review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and related financial documents.
Recommend strategies to improve financial health, including establishing and analyzing PPS results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and suggesting corrective actions.
Present clear, actionable financial analysis to key stakeholders, including executive management and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in fiscal management or administration, with a focus on financial systems, management information, and controls, particularly in supervisory, administrative, or management roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management, both in theory and practice.
Experience with auditing, billing compliance reviews, and trend analysis in outpatient treatment services, behavioral health clinics, and care management practices.
Familiarity with CCBHC clinics, healthcare billing, and the policies affecting behavioral health provider revenue.
Ability to collaborate effectively with executive teams and staff to achieve project goals.
Skilled in drafting financial analyses and presenting findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and individuals with limited financial knowledge.
Compensation:
The base compensation for this role is $50,000 per year. Please note that compensation is contract-based, and it varies depending on the client's needs and successful project execution. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
