Central Baptist Village is a not-for-profit, faith-based community with more than a century of dedicated service in caring for older adults. Our Cooks are responsible for preparing great food for our residents, staff, and guests. There is a minimum of a Food Handlers certification required but offered on site. Cooks are responsible for ensuring food preparation and storage is in accordance with all governing regulations. They may assist with menu development, training of staff, and participating in special community functions. Our cooks are team players who are well acquainted with working in a fast paced environment, possess organization and time management skills, and are knowledgeable of food preparation and handling techniques.

Starting wage : $19+/hr based on experience

Schedule : Part -Time 5:30am-2pm / 9:30am - 6pm Weekends Only 

Requirements

• Contribute to an inclusive culture thriving on teamwork and positive attitudes
• Promote innovation through culinary arts programs, cooking displays, and catering events
• Availability on weekends, evenings, on call, & holidays
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written English & follow recipes 
• 2 years cooking experience preferred
